Welcome to Calorie Difference Chart (“the App”), provided by Robin Kanatzar (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1) What the App Does

• The App lets you track calories “in” and calories “out” to visualize your daily/weekly calorie difference and progress toward goals on a clear chart.
• The App is for informational and self-tracking purposes only and does not provide medical, nutritional, or fitness advice.

2) Eligibility & Acceptable Use

• The App is suitable for all ages; however, if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, use it under the supervision of a parent/guardian.
• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Do not attempt to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App.

3) Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• The App offers monthly and annual subscriptions (“Premium Access”).
• Premium Access includes features such as:
  • A historical view of previous days.
  • The ability to export your data.
• Payments are processed through Apple’s App Store, and Apple’s payment terms apply.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are not provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by Apple or applicable law.

4) User Content

• You may enter or import your own data (e.g., calorie entries, activities). You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries and for ensuring you have rights to any material you input.
• The App does not include social features or public sharing. You cannot post content for other users.

5) Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Robin Kanatzar and protected by applicable laws.
• We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

6) Disclaimers

• The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that charts, calculations, or estimates are error-free or that the App will be uninterrupted.
• Calorie estimates and energy expenditure vary by person and method. Entries you provide (and any calculations the App makes from them) may be inaccurate or incomplete.

7) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from or related to your use of the App.

8) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

9) Changes to the App or Terms

We may update or discontinue features and may revise these Terms. Material changes will be posted in the App or on our website. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how Calorie Difference Chart handles information.

1) Summary

• We do not collect personal data.
• No third-party analytics, ads, or SDKs.
• Your entries remain on your device unless you export or back them up yourself.

2) Data We Collect

• Currently: none. We do not collect, store, or process personal information. The App does not transmit your entries to us.

3) Premium Access Features

• If you purchase a subscription, your Apple ID and payment information are handled directly by Apple. We do not have access to or store this information.
• Premium Access features, such as historical views and data export, operate locally on your device. Exported data is only shared where you choose to send or store it.

4) How Your Data Stays on Device

• Calorie entries, activity inputs, and chart data are stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, local data may be removed from your device.
• If you choose to back up your device (e.g., via iCloud device backup) or export your data, those processes are governed by Apple or any destination you select.

5) Health Disclaimer

The App is intended for general informational and self-tracking purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or health routines. Do not rely solely on the App for decisions about your health.

6) Third-Party Services

• We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash reporters, or social plugins.

7) Children’s Privacy

• The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from children.

8) Security

• Because we do not collect personal data, we do not maintain user databases. Local data security depends on your device settings (e.g., passcode, Face/Touch ID) and Apple’s platform security.

9) Your Choices

• You can edit or delete your entries within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App may remove locally stored data.
